The Private Session

I have a passion for teaching private yoga. One-on-one. Just you and me. This means that I get to be fully and deeply present with you and only you. I get to devote 100% of my time, my focus, my skill and my energy to crafting a session that uniquely suits your body, your needs, and your goals. Most importantly, this means that YOU receive all of the attention and care that your body and your practice deserve. 

Because of their personal nature, private sessions are well suited for anyone, but they can be especially effective if:

  • You have or are recovering from an injury
  • You have a specific goal
  • You are a beginner and want to learn the basics the right way
  • You want the convenience of practicing in your own home at a time that suits your busy schedule
  • You want to deepen your practice and your experience
  • You want to practice yoga but taking group classes at a studio isn't for you
  • You want to work with a devoted teacher who will support you and keep you accountable 

Benefits

Yoga has an incredible ability to ignite, foster and enact transformation, and this is infinitely amplified during private sessions. The benefits of yoga are as unique as you are, but here are a few of my favourites:

Booking a Session

Single sessions and packages of five and ten are available and I serve yogis in New York City. Send an email to julie@juliemaeweber.com to book a class or inquire. Classes can be held in your home, office or a rented studio space.

Additional Offerings

Men's Express Session (40 minutes)
Quick and dirty. Specifically designed to compliment and balance your existing fitness regimen (running, lifting, cycling, training, etc), we'll focus on flexibility, strength and stress relief. 

Power Session
A transformational 1/2 day experience that includes a 1.5-hour yoga and meditation class followed by a two-hour lifestyle coaching session. 

Duet and Small Group Yoga Sessions
For couples, friends and intimate gatherings.

Corporate Yoga
In-office classes that nourish your staff so that they can go back to business not as usual, but as an even better version of themselves, delivering even better results for your company.

Reiki Healing
Reiki (pronounced "ray-key") is an ancient Japanese healing art that, translated, means "universal life energy". A simple, natural and safe method of healing and self improvement, reiki is administered through light touch or no touch at all, enhancing and accelerating healing and an overall sense of wellbeing. Reiki sessions can be booked on their own, or used to enhance private yoga sessions.

Meditation (30 minutes)
In this short but powerful session we'll explore different techniques and ways to focus and clear the mind. Reduce stress, sleep better, accomplish more, worry less.


A friend’s stellar recommendation led me to Julie. I love working with Julie privately in my home. Her teaching is gentle, compassionate, effective. In our first session, she showed me a modification of a pose that I was able to teach my husband that night to alleviate his back pain.
