Hi, I’m Julie. I specialize in teaching private yoga sessions that are carefully and specially tailored to fit the beautifully diverse and individual needs of each of my clients. I believe that yoga is for everyone and I am passionate about making it fun, meaningful and accessible to anyone. 

Yoga helps me find space, freedom and ease and my mission, plain and simple, is to help others find space, freedom and ease—in their bodies, their minds and their lives.

I am a Canadian Native and early in my career I moved to New York City to pursue my big city dreams and work with the United Nations. Jaunts abroad led me to live in London and soon after, New Zealand. It was there, in that loveliest of lands, that I became enchanted with a lifestyle that invited more space, freedom and ease. 

For me, this came in the form of a deepening yoga practice. Enchanted still, I became a certified instructor and now find passion and purpose in bringing the powerful benefits of yoga and meditation to clients all over New York and now, as a recent transplant to the West Coast, Seattle.

In addition to working with a full schedule of private clients, I am the Co-Founder of Samana Health Retreats, a boutique wellness company that offers luxury retreats and experiences. A deep believer in a holistic lifestyle and all things mind, body spirit, I am also a Certified Reiki Healer and Holistic Health Coach.
